Nari Kim is a trans-disciplinary artist living in East Harlem. Her work explores intersectional feminism, subaltern identity - the voided voice that has been excluded and erased historically and culturally, centralizing the West - and virtual space’s effects on things through her multi-media installations, drawings and sculptures.

She received her Master degree of Fine Art at Hunter College, New York in 2015 and a Bachelor degree of Fine Art at Hongik University, Seoul in 2009.

She has presented her works in diverse venues, including Bronx Museum, New York; ProjectArt, New York; Space 776, Brooklyn; Koban Project Space, Baltimore; Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, Wilmington; Common Center, Seoul; and many others. She has participated in artist fellow programs including Bronx Museum (AIM), ProjectArt, and Space 776. Hyperallergic, Bushwick Daily, and ArtSlant have reviewed her work. She received awards from the Arko foundation that is run by the Korean government, the AHL foundation in New York and The Robert W. Deutsch Foundation in Baltimore under the Koban Project Grant.
